IPL 2022 Mega Auction has been concluded on 12 and 13 of the February. Fans have been desperately waiting for this mega auction as it turns IPL more interesting. From IPL 2022 There will be 10 teams in the action with addition of two more teams Gujrat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. This makes IPL even more itense and drama will be more. Total of 204 Players have been sold and 550 Crores have been spent in the IPL Mega Auction. In which the most expensive player was Ishan Kishan worth of 15.25 CRORES bought by Mumbai Indians followed by this Deepak Chahar worth 14 CRORES bought by CSK, and Shreyas Iyer worth of 12.25 CRORES bought by KKR.
The defending titles have changed their squad with a lot of young players in their squad. This time DU Plessis and Raina one of the oldest CSK players will not be there. Even Suresh Raina knows as Mr.IPL has gone unsold in the auction. I would preferably say that the team from the previous edition looked more stronger than the present one. Lack of depth in the bowling. The Top of the order is fine some of the old player such as Bravo, Jadega are there. They have also bought Deepak Chahar by spending 14 Crores and Mastermind Ms Dhoni himself can find best in the squad and get good Results.
SQUAD ANALYSIS

If we look at the Kolkata Night Riders the squad has bunch of talent that they can easily rely on as they were doing from previous season. More or less they have bought their old players from the auction. Their problem is a wicket keeper batsman they do not have a experience wicket keeper batsman and their fast bowling unit doesn't seem strong to me except Pat Cummins. They have bought Shreyas Iyer which makes him a candidate for their skipper criteria although Pat Cummins have been also emerged as a great leader in the Ashes. But according to the situation Shreyas Iyer should be a preferred Captain as he did Captaincy for DC and took them into finals

Moreover the RCB has done the pretty same thing they have bought their old players. RCB Fast bowling unit really looks good With Harshal Patel who was a purple cap holder followed by Mohd Siraj and Josh Hazlewood present in the line up. David Willey and Jason Behrendroff are good skilled bowlers but they don't have much IPL experience. Again RCB is relying with the top order on Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell is only hope in the middle order. The finisher factor is still missing for RCB and spin department is also depending on Hasaranga . No doubt he has been a stunning spin bowler and done a really good job although he hasn't played IPL much. There is too much dependency on young inexperienced players.

Lucknow Super Giants would be debuting for the first time in the IPL and hence they have made sure that their squad looks good enough to compete in the world's best t20 league. Also they do not have proper batsman other than KL and Quinton at the top but hopefully this should not be an big issue.I think with the right guidance of KL Rahul this team can do wonders in the IPL 2022.

Delhi Capitals are back with yet another amazing squad as previous season. In the early auction their major players were bought by other franchise which are Shikhar Dhawan, R. Ashwin, Shreyas Iyer, Kagiso Rabada but still they have managed to build a good squad for competition. They have bought the ICC T2O player of the tournament David Warner and Shardul Thakur in a high price of 10.75 Crores and also the left arm spinner Kuldeep. Their issue might be death bowling because they don't have death specialists except Nortje. All together I can say that it is the most complete squad for the IPL 2022 and a team which can easily dominate others.

The Punjab have made sure that they have picked a bunch of players which have been doing well in the T20 Cricket. They have changed their entire squad from previous season. Adding of senior players such as Shikhar Dhawan and Johnny Bairstow, Kagiso Rabada make this squad looking dangerous. But there have been issues such as their Captaincy issue has not yet solved there is no experienced captain in the squad. Shikhar used to lead Sunrises Hyderabad but he was not successful. Adding to this insufficient back up players, they surely make a strong and balanced playing XI but other than them backup is not strong. These factors can affect them in the future.

Mumbai Indians is the most successful franchise in the IPL. This franchise is known for his one of the most dominating and the most balanced in the IPL. Mumbai Indians have consistently shown immense trust in their young talents, and in return, many of those players have evolved into match-winners. Over the years, MI has been a breeding ground for emerging stars, shaping them into formidable cricketers. However, this time around, several of those homegrown players have been picked up by other franchises including Hardik and Krunal Pandya, as well as Rahul Chahar, who began developing his skills under the MI banner before moving on.. Quinton De Kock has been bought by Lucknow. However they have bought Ishaan Kishan once again worth of 15.25 crores showing absolute amount of trust on him. Mumbai Indians have completed changed their team squad. They have bought Archer but he will not be available in 2022. So other than Bumrah their bowling department looks weak. Total dependce on the top orders , middle order looks bleak with inexperienced players except Pollard. Spin department also look fragile. However the name in the middle order such as Tim David and Daniel Sams are really known for their power hitting but in the IPL they don't have shown any inetnt. Other than this we can never underestimate the Mumbai Indians they have known building their team with their players and hopefully they will try to do this time also.

Gujrat Titans will be the second new addition to the Indian Premier League. The Gujrat titans have a an amazing squad. All of them are young lads with great energy filled in them. Bowling definitely looks good as they have Shami, Rashid Khan and Lockie Ferguson. Hardik Pandya is all to set to lead them and it will be very challenging to him to lead in IPL. Middle Order looks bleak as they depends on Hardik Pandya and he was also out of form in the previous T2O tournament. Spin department looks completely dependent on Rashid Khan. Other than him no major spinner. But comparing from other franchise they still have a good bunch of guys with decent IPL expeirence.

Rajasthan has also made a squad with some talented players in their squad. They really had a good buys in the auction. Some of the extreme talented and experienced players has added in their squad. The problem lacks in the middle order they don't have a experience middle order players. The opening pair is still a fuss according to me there are 3 players who can open so its a question of which pair will open. Other than this bowling of Rajasthan Royals are top notch which includes Ashwin and Chahal in the spin department. When it come to fast bowling the New Zealand superstar Trent Bolt and Prasidh Krishna has been picking up good these days.

I would preferably doubt that Sunrises have made a strong squad in this mega auction. Yet there are some weakness. Spin department looks bleak with only Sundar present there. Fast bowling unit also is dependent on Bhumneshwar Kumar , lack of middle order depth. Pooran is in good form these days if he continues then that should not be an problem, Openers are still not yet confirmed. They have something missing in their every department. But if youngster can pull over it will be exciting to see SRH in the IPL.
