INDIA WORLD T20 SQUAD ANALYSIS

T2O WORLD CUP 2021 is beginning from 17th October in UAE. After so much delay due to pandemic conditions finally we have a date for the t20 world cup. Here is the Indian Cicket team Squad for the world t20 with  combination of six batsman, three all rounders and five bowlers.  Apart from this there are also three stand by players.This combinations will be playing in the UAE for the tournament. It is looks exciting as the Indian Premier Legaue is also resuming from 19 September. So busy schedule for the Indian Cricket Fans. So lets talk about these squads


STRENGTH!!

I think particularly India have a strong batting line up in the squad. Captian Virat Kohli was in good form in the previous t20 series against England. KL Rahul was particularly in good from in the Indian Premier League.  Rohit Sharman doesn’t take much time to deliver.  Suryakumar and Ishan Kishan is those young sensation which you can relay on the middle order.


India's fast bowling has been particularly excellent. Jasprit Bumrah present in the death overs is just what a team needs. Mohammed Shami is absolute stunning with the new bowl. The fast bowling campaign of team India have improved a lot outside Indians condition too so that really a good sign for the indian team in upcoming tournament. 




WEAKNESS


.  I think the team is too much relying on the spinners. There are 5 spinners in these squad which look like India is expecting too much from the spinners in this world cup 

. Another Issue I think this time Indian squad will be lacking of experience. Although Suryakumar Yadav and Kishan  are in a very good form but there is only one condition with them they don't have much experience. I personally do not judge a player experience form their IPL matches. From my point of view they need to play proper international games before going to big stage. They need to have proper game strategy as they are a
Playing important league stage matches which they can't afford to lose easily or the important matches of  tournament. Same goes for Varun Chakravarthy. 


REPLACEMENT SUGGESTIONS

If i look at it, I replace the two of the players from the Ongoing Squad. I think these two players are have a good ability and can really give match winning performances  in the upcoming  games.

1.  SHARDUL THAKUR  IN PLACE OF AXAR PATEL  

As everyone know that Shardul Thakur has been in the major form. He has been a game changer for the team India. He is excellent with the bowl and has contributed really crucial runs for the team. Adding to this If Hardik did not deliver then in the upcoming squad there is no substitute for him who can bat as well as bowl. While on the other hand Axar has been good with the bowl but his batting , I personally don't think has given justice. Shardul is  currently present in Stand by list for India. 


2. YUZVENDRA CHAHAL IN PLACE OF VARUN CHAKRAVARTHY 

As you all know Chahal has been not been in a good form in current times. But mind you he is the highest wicket taker for India in t20 internationals. I think he should be definitely in the squad. To start with Chahal provides much more experience than Varun Chakravarthy in the t20. Varun has played only 3 games of t20 international. Adding on it the bonding between captain Kohli and Chahal is so good that they somehow find the way to broke a partnership. I also do feel that Chahal is  a striking bowler he may be expensive but at the end he provides you with those important crucial breakthroughs. 




SUPRISE CHANGES !!!

  1. Adding Of R Ashwin into the t20 world cup  squad was the most unexpected in the squad. I think it is one of the best decisions the selectors have been made as he adds more experience, skill, and maturity to the team. Ashiwn has been in a top form in the test currently. He has always been a match winner for the team . I think it is a incredible decision  to add him in the squad. We all hope it would be a great comeback for him.

2. Second major decision that the BCCI took that to not include Shikhar Dhawan in the squad.  This was quite suprising for me but after that I accepted it. I think Dhawan lacks the strike rate in his batting. Although Dhawan has produced runs in the IPL but I think he needs to improve his strike rate.


WILL IPL BE IMPORTANT FOR THE SQUAD MEMBERS?
 
Definitely IPL will be very important as just after few month the world t20 will begin on the same venue. So players need to gear up and need to be in form in the IPL. All squad members needs to perform well in this tournament so that they can regain their form and give their best in the the major tournament they will be heading for In UAE once again.



"ADDING OF "MS DHONI" AS A MENTOR"

This has been most highlighted news that MS DHONI is again back in the team. The fans literally dreamed this moment to have Virat and MS Dhoni  back again and they have their moment. Ms Dhoni will join as mentor alongside with Captain Virat Kohli and Headcoach  Ravi Shastri. I think i don't need to justify that how much DHONI can provide experience and help the younger members in the squad. He is literally role models of many players in the team. The combination of Dhoni and Kohli can literally provides good results in the tournaments. We really are excited to see how the team works with the iconic duo present once again in the Indian Team.

NO PLAYOFFS FOR RCB

RCB is one of the most competitive teams in the IPL. Yet they haven't backed a single IPL trophy. Years by Years, the expectation from the fans increases, but the team once again falls short to cross the border line. Again and again, I am getting disappointed at the end of the tournament. Having Big Guns Like Virat, Faf Du Plesis, and Maxwell, but yet they still fall short.
